Packmetry

Privacy

Privacy,explained plainly.

Packmetry is currently designed as a browser-first workbench. This page explains what stays in your browser, what you may choose to send to Packmetry, and where third-party infrastructure can still be involved.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

At a glance

The current product keeps the core packing workflow local.

Workspace data is browser-local

Recent items, plans, saved cartons, projects and preferences are stored in your browser in the current product.

No account is required

Packmetry does not currently require a user account or cloud workspace to run the Personal or Business packing tools.

Email is user-initiated

Information reaches Packmetry directly when you choose to send an email or otherwise provide it.

01

Browser-local workspace data

The current Packmetry application uses browser storage to keep parts of your workspace available between visits. Depending on the feature, this includes technologies such asIndexedDB andlocalStorage.

Examples include recent Personal items and packing plans, unit preferences, saved Business cartons, recent Business projects, and selected handling or optimization preferences.

This data is stored on the device and browser profile where you use Packmetry. The current product does not require that workspace data to be uploaded to a Packmetry account or cloud workspace.

02

Information you choose to send

If you emailpackmetry@gmail.com, Packmetry may receive the information included in your message, such as your email address, message text, attachments and ordinary email metadata.

That information may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond, understand feedback, investigate a reported issue, or maintain relevant correspondence.

Please avoid sensitive information

Do not send passwords, payment card details, authentication secrets or other information that is not needed to explain your question or issue.

03

Technical and hosting data

Even when application workspace data stays in your browser, the services used to host and deliver a website may process standard technical request information.

Depending on the hosting or network provider, this can include information such as an IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested URLs, request times, and security or error logs. Those infrastructure practices are separate from Packmetry's browser-local workspace storage.

04

Cookies, analytics and advertising

At the time of this policy, the current Packmetry application code does not include advertising trackers or analytics trackers, and Packmetry does not use application-set advertising cookies.

If analytics, advertising, cloud accounts or similar services are added later, this policy should be updated to explain what is collected and why.

05

Your control over current data

Browser-local Packmetry data is tied to your browser storage. You can remove local data using your browser's site data or storage controls. Clearing that data can also remove recent work, preferences, saved cartons or projects stored only in that browser.

Business project JSON exports are files you control directly. If you export, copy or share one of those files, its handling depends on where you save or send it.

For personal information that you sent directly to Packmetry by email, you can contactpackmetry@gmail.comwith a privacy-related request. Applicable legal or operational retention requirements may still apply.

06

Future product changes

Packmetry is still expanding. Future versions may add accounts, cloud storage, integrations, APIs, analytics or other services that change how data is handled.

When a material change affects privacy, this page should be updated so the published policy matches the product that users actually receive.

Questions about this policy can be sent topackmetry@gmail.com.
